Renewing drivers license early

Can i renew my driving license 4 months before it expires as need to change my address and don't want to renew twice in a short time

    I doubt it 

    It is simple to change address do it on line and you will have it in a week 

    Why make something complicated when it's not complicated at all

    From experience if you try to change the address with under a year remaining you'll be prompted for a new photo (you can select the one from your current passport) and it'll renew the licence at the same time.

    That was a few years ago mind.
