A colour scheme that flows through the whole property works well and makes it feel connected. I'd think this is more the case in a smaller property.
Free Bear, that room sounds well nice! We've ended up with a fair amount of pink, green, teal, burgundy etc.
Little Greene are good - they have colour scales and show what colours work well together, their website is good for info and ideas too0
