When should apply for uc if paid 16 every month?

When should I apply for uc if paid 16th every month? Sometimes it falls on weekends so paid the Friday before it - I don’t mind when I get my uc payment but I would like to not have 2 pays in one assessment period? I’m having change of circumstances by moving from supporting accommodations to housing association rental so my housing benefits will stop and trigger change to uc. 

I can move to my new house between the 18 match -5 April 

my esa and hb will be paid two weeks once I click submit for uc.. so I have a long period to start my claim (but would need to on moving date sign up) to cover rent - 
Is it best 1 st of month or 17-19th of month after my payday on 16th (Feb march I’ll be paid on 14th due to the weekend?

On the UC date, if you are paid on the 16th (and never later) the earliest  date you could get paid is the 12th,  you need to make sure you  don't claim between those two dates. I would add a few days leeway. With your move in dates any of those would be fine.
If you want to split your wages and UC up, then claim about the 24th/25th of the month.
