Dealing with a CCJ

Hi all,
would like to ask for advice on this.
would like to ask for advice on this.
I’ve recently noticed I have a ccj that appears in the credit karma and ClearScore apps for just under £300. There is a case number but the claimant is not shown.
The issuing court shows as CNBC which leads me to believe it’s a default judgement. I have tried calling the cnbc several times but after about an hour of no answer the call just drops.
I have no idea what this is for. The amount looks similar to a parking charge but the only one I know about was the one I posted about a few weeks ago which was resolved.
Any advice on how to proceed?
thanks in advance

Well, if it was a parking charge, the judgement will just sit there for 6 years, and will then be automatically removed.
They are never enforced, these companies just obtain judgement, usually by default, to wreck your credit for 6 years as a means of punishment.
You can email the bulk handling centre in Northampton, they respond to email more frequently than they answer the phone.
I assume you are not been chased for payment?
Paying the debt will not remove the judgement, and a set aside application now costs £301 !!!

It’s just the amount that makes me thing it might be for a parking charge. The only one I’ve received should have been cancelled as it was incorrectly issued, I should have been on the whitelist due to being employed at the location. I was told it had been removed by the company. Apart from that I haven’t had one for several years. At the moment I am not being chased for payment so I’ll email CNBC and try to get more info. Was looking at remortgaging in 3-4 years for house upgrades but suppose it could wait another couple.0

If its a PCN post up on the parking board
@sourcrates this isnt correct for values over £600 involving DCB Legal they always move up to a high court writ for enforcement.1 -

Check if it's a parking ticket and if so go post on the parking ticket forum, @Coupon-mad is very good at helping fight these leaches
Sam Vimes' Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness:
People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.

I’ve rang twice today and same thing - after around 70 minutes the call just ends. Will try at 8:30 tomorrow. In the meantime, does anyone know the correct email to make an enquiry to? Looking at the list here https://www.find-court-tribunal.service.gov.uk/courts/civil-national-business-centre-cnbc there is a general enquiries number (ending in 1056) which is the one I’ve been trying to call but the email addresses listed seem to be for different purposes.0

Received the judgement for claimant today. It’s the same case number. It’s from premier park and Gladstones for a parking charge 2 years ago. Essentially the charge was issued because the car was parked slightly over the line in a very dark and empty car park with plenty of spaces free. What a lovely time to be hit with this while going through bereavement and being on UC.I wrote to all the retailers and didnt hear anything from them for about a year so assumed the retailers had stopped it but clearly not. Will post in the other forum later to see how to proceed. Not being chased yet by gladstones or premier park as far as I am aware.0
