This month's theme is Pairs

We’ve chosen ‘Pairs’ as the theme for our February Photo of the Month Competition. In photographic composition, a pair forms a counterpoint by giving the viewer two distinct focal points to look at. This can help draw their gaze through the frame or create a sense of depth. 

February is also the month in which we celebrate Valentine’s Day, and while in most parts of the world this is seen as a day for couples, in Finland, 14 February is known as ‘Ystävänpäivä’ or ‘friendship day,’ and it’s all about celebrating friendship.
