Adding spouse to deeds

I know it has been asked many times before but the search engine here is a bit random.
Just had a quote from my usual solicitor to do it and seems a bit excessive at £2195 plus VAT plus LR fee.
So just to clarify we want to be 50 % equal shares, tenants in common . No mortgage .
Exactly what docs do I need to fill out and a pointer to all forms would be tremendous .

That’s a lot. I had my sibling added as tenant in common less than a year ago for £890
No mortgage on the property, sounds similar to your situation.I did look at DIY but decided it was too much of a risk to not get it done properly. Sorry I can’t remember what the forms were called, but someone on here told me so I’m sure you’ll get help.1 -
Is it the matrimonial home? If so, is there much point in doing it at all?2

I bought my sibling out 6 months ago, cost £850 all in.
