Inheritance not yet received but what if I die.

Hello.

My parent passed away last year and my siblings are currently going through probate.
If I was to pass away before receiving my share , would my daughter inherit from the estate my share?
I guess I need to make a will?
I am single.

Assuming she is your only child then yes she would inherit your share. You should still make a will however as you need to say what happens to your estate should your daughter dies before you, or you both died together.

I remember hearing that if one of the beneficiaries dies then their share is automatically cancelled

is this if the beneficiary dies before the person making the will or is it before the probate is attained?

If a beneficiary dies before the testator, what happens to that beneficiaries share depends on the wording of the will.

if the beneficiary dies after the testator then their bequest forms part of the beneficiaries estate. The only time that does not apply is if the will contains a survival clause that states the beneficiary has to outlive the testator by a certain amount of time.
