No, it was only for just over £100 required, I have over minimum amount of required saving limit funds in account..I am going to send secure message to them later for their response and will update this post in a few days. Thanks for everyones input..0

I just checked the general terms which mentions there is a limit but says contact them to find out which isnt too helpfulThere are limits on the maximum amount that can be transferred from your Account by Faster Payment which we may change from time to time. Please contact us on the details in the “How to contact us” section for further information on these limits.Yes it would be good to find out why you get the £20 charge as I have same account but later issue and expected from the terms that faster payments were free. Only CHAPS has £201

The General Terms & Conditions say this about withdrawing funds from an Online Account
Online Account - Withdrawals from your Account can only be made by Faster Payment to your Nominated Account(s).

Thanks again for everyones input on this, I have sent LBS a secure message this evening outlining my query/concerns and as soon as I receive a reply I will update this post. Will be most interesting to hear from them. Will close my easy access online account if I am to be charged £20 everytime I wish to access a nominal sum by means of standard electronic faster payments...0

I have my mortgage with them and an easy access savings account. When I went to withdraw from the savings account I had the same options as you.
I called them and was told I needed to set up a nominated account to transfer withdrawals to, and each time I need to make a withdrawal, I am to call them. Yes, it's an archaic process. Also, money will arrive in your account the following day and not the same day. I was not charged to take money out, and I had to give a reason for withdrawing my own money.0 -
I have the limited issue online acccess issue 65 but not actually done a withdrawl yet, however I just tried the process where I selected the nominated account, it generated a text message which I received on my phone, then I was asked to enter that code on the web page. I didnt progress as I dont want to withdraw anything yet, but there was no mention of any charges or needing to call to complete the withdrawl. Is that the same process you had @xxdiddiexx0

Update***I have this afternoon had a reply from Leeds Building Society outlining the process of online transfer of funds from your LBS instant access savings account, it was slightly more complicated than it need to have been but once I received the relevant instructions from them I now see it is possible to do the electronic faster payment to a nominated bank account your have registered with them and I am told there is no fee for this. So again thanks to everyone for their inputs, I am pretty good at doing transfers on various other online building society accounts but this was a little more awkward than the ones I am used to.. Regards...3
