Private Van Insurance with IVA

I'm having enormous difficulty finding insurance for my van because of my IVA...I cannot afford 12 months up front....does anywhere just do 6 month cover or any advice please?? Thanks

    What sort of van is it? Something based on a car or a transit type thing? 

    Adrian Flux do temp cover for up to 6 months on vans but there may not be the greatest difference in price to an annual policy.

    I dont know the rules about taking out more credit whilst on an IVA but worth noting that "paying monthly" for insurance is effectively a loan with most direct insurers and is actually a loan with many brokers who use the likes of Premium Credit to allow you to pay monthly (they have to pay the full premium to the insurer after c30 days irrespective if you pay them in full or monthly)
