Does "before exiting the car park" refer to the driver leaving the car park after having parked the car, or does it mean before the car and driver leave the car park at the end of their visit?

Not a car park I would rate as by The New Theatre telling you to park there too watch the shows we all know that we need more than 2 hours at a show, anyway was parked over my time and was issued with a fine appealed but it was unsuccessful so had to pay the £60 fine, would it not be easier to have a set charge after a certain time as the councillors are always saying support your local businesses, will not be visiting Peterborough again in a hurry.
Beware you get fined for an underpayment even though you pay what the machine says. Parking eye are a complete rip off and making a mint from this car park.
Avoid this scam parking eye car park got a CCJ now and £207 fine for overstaying less then 10 minutes, how is this not illegal parking eye are a total scam company
Absolutely disgusting company!! Avoid any parking eye car park. Received a fine for being 8 mins late but for £100 immediately as they didn’t bother to send me the first letter which would have been £60 which is still disgusting as the grace period for all other car parks is 10 mins!

You shouldn't have tried POPLA. It isn't considered independent. It's supplied by the BPA. They are not independent. You will almost certainly lose the appeal as there are no grounds that POPLA will accept.
You will have to ignore this after you lose at POPLA. Come back if you get a small claim.
That's how I read it! I refer the judge to Contra Proferentem.KeithP said:This bit of that sign you have shown us...Perhaps we can look to Section 69 of The Consumer Rights Act 2015 to resolve this apparent ambiguity...

Yes, the PCN was for no ticket purchased. I proved that I did, but they came back that it was insufficient. You would think ANPR calculates it for you, at least that was my previous experiences with ANPRGr1pr said:Post a redacted picture of the top of the rear of the NTK PCN letter and the exact response from Parking Eye
I assume that the alleged contravention is insufficient payment for the total time on site ?
.frankly, I am fed up with some of the modern systems that require the customer to do all the work, with no training, then blame that same person if mistakes or errors occur , usually due to misleading signage and lots of rules
Personally I hate self checkouts and needing the correct app out of numerous apps, then the machines tell us an error occurred or do you need more time ? , or the repeated robotic requests to take your many heavy bags from the checkout weighing machine on double quick time ! Then an alarm goes off because you didn't see any small signs telling you to detag items
The Peel Centre in Stockport is pay on exit to Ocean Parking, it calculates your time on site !
Grrrr it's only giving me 10k words and no option to attach anything 🤬Coupon-mad said:When this appeal is rejected by POPLA, do not pay. Sit tight. Do nothing except the below.
By going confidently into the 'ignore' stance, the only steps to take (because you MUST check every letter) are:
- Tell them if you move house within 6 years.
- Ignore the tedious £170 threatograms shown in pictures in the 4th post of the NEWBIES thread.
- Come back if you get a solicitor's LBC as per the 2nd post of the NEWBIES thread.
Nobody pays a penny and no hearing is even needed in most cases. Search the forum and read a few cases as they are easy to beat by waiting for a claim form - it is easier than appealing!
There is no risk AT ALL in defending a court claim. No CCJ. No bailiffs.
But you already know that from the POPLA COMMENTS section of the NEWBIES thread...GemTweets said:Grrrr it's only giving me 10k words and no option to attach anything 🤬Coupon-mad said:When this appeal is rejected by POPLA, do not pay. Sit tight. Do nothing except the below.
