Evri 5 deliveries

So yesterday we stayed in all day, had 5 deliveries coming. morrisons, tpn, dpd, royal mail and evri, stuck a notice on the door saying we were in and to please give us time to get to the door. Dpd left at wrong address! Picture did not show address, not even same street, Labels correct when kind person brought them to our house.
But Evri took the biscuit. could not find our house, they have been many times before, we are on all the maps, last white bungalow, street clearly labelled. followed tracking, asked me to contact them, I tried, chat Ezra ai - gave various responses none helpful all different. tried calling, got ai, did not give enough time to put delivery id in and you cannot cut and paste. Noted it down entered it 4 or 5 times with a different response to each. Emailed who gives a crap, asked for a refund, they were excellent. Offered to resend with a different courier before 8 this am.
in the last 2 months with Evri I have had 2 parcels stolen, one for a new baby, 2 not delivered, delivered to wrong address.
The action I am taking is as follows:-

a: don't use suppliers who use Evri

b: ask supplier for a refund if there are problems with Evri

c : no longer use Evri

d : writing to their licensing body as they are not fulfilling part of the the conditions that attach, namely that there is a complaints process.I have evidence that they clearly dont have one.

Thanks for listening to a carer of 5 years having a stress relief moan. Best delivery service is Royal Mail, use in my ebay and present sending now. no issues, ever:)

On a serous note, Evri is so hit or miss, my last area  had same driver for years and never an issue, now I never see the same one twice.

I make and sell jam. Just me. Make it at home. Very small business, but I have people ordering from all over the U.K.
I used to use Evri or Hermes to deliver as they were the cheapest. But I had parcels go missing, breakages, delays and partial deliveries. Also both collections and deliveries were unreliable being before or after the agreed dates.
Eventually I moved over to Royal Mail. Not had a single breakage, delay or other problem. They collect from the house at no extra charge.
I wish I’d realised that at the beginning.

I live less than a mile from a parent. Evri for them are fantastic, great friendly driver, you can time them to perfection, and never had a problem.

Me, clearly a different Evri driver… can’t find the right door for my flat, parcels dumped in wrong building, despite mail boxes showing numbers,
parcels dumped outside at 1:30am… With my neighbours it’s hunt the parcel, and guess which block it’s dumped in. Reported to Evri many times, nothing gets done.

I try to avoid them but if I can’t get delivered to the parents!

    Every area is different.

I have no issues with Evri, Yodel, DPD or UPS. FedEx are a bit crap but passable. Royal Mail are a nightmare.

We live in a small rural market town.  It has very low crime.  I buy nearly all my non food items online.  Many deliveries are with Evri, I’ve never had a single problem.  It obvious varies with area.

You don’t always know which courier firm the supplier uses, it’s not always the same anyway.  I ordered a matching kettle and toaster from Amazon last week.  I assumed they would arrive together.  One arrived with Evri, the other arrived with DPD.  The Evri one arrived 8 hours before the DPD :D
