Recording audio direct from Youtube.

Is there an easy way of recording audio from Youtube direct to hard drive?

Have a look at this Audacity - http://audacity.sourceforge.net/0

I use Audacity as mentioned above, when recording you will see a
drop down arrow that will allow you to select various recording inputs
you just need to select "what you hear" and bob's your dad's brother.
ps. if you want to save recordings as mp3 there is a seperate file you will
need to download and install, but it will tell you when you select to export as mp3"Gort, klaatu barada nikto"

Had to do the same thing for a friend over christmas and used this site http://vixy.net/
allows you to select just the audio or the whole video.2022 win - Radiate Beauty Balm0 -

no "what you hear" option that I can see.
I can't get any of the recording utilities to record what I hear on the headphones. Might this be sound card related? I've got the Sigma Tel built in card that came with the computer.Happy chappy0
