I am still waiting for my card as I too have applied for the switch offer. Obviously I need to make 5 separate debit card purchases, does anyone know if this is also applicable for online purchases and can I make them on the same day?

if the payment is by debit card and you make 5, that is 5, they do not impose limits on days. You should read the switch terms and conditions to be clear though
