i have three children get universal credit for 2 children one of them has desided not to go to collage any more what happens i know his money stops but can i then clame for the other child ie child three

Yes, if there are 3 children on the claim, and the system only pays for two of them, once the oldest is no longer classed as a child (over 16 and no longer in full time education), then they become a non-dependant and the system will pay child element for the other two children.As long as all 3 are correctly declared on the claim, payment for qualifying children should be automatic.You may need to remove the eldest as a child from the claim and then redeclare them as someone else living at the property.Our green credentials: 12kW Samsung ASHP for heating, 7.2kWp Solar (South facing), Tesla Powerwall 3 (13.5kWh), Net exporter1
