Not heard of them, but from their website they appear not to be a scam, plus there was a thread about them on here some years ago.

They seem to specialise in advice relating to transfers out of Defined Benefit ( final salary) schemes, not general financial advice.

OP is this the sort of advice you were actually looking for ?

Not surprising if they are heavily reliant on DB pension transfer advice.....

To be clear, this is "Pensionhelp Ltd" - the OP also uses the term "Pension Help Ltd", three words, and not two. Hopefully this wasn't a cold call, the OP has assumed comes from the company listed at Companies House.
Cloned companies are all too common these days.

The company I alluded to has a Manchester address, as does the OP’s.

    Indeed the same address …

OP website (stated as pensionhelp.co.uk) …

My suggested Company on Companies House …

I am not arguing about what you posted @Firedreamer.
All I wanted to point out that when the OP posted:

The company at the OP's link "pensionhelp.co.uk", and that you have given details of in Manchester do not have the exact same name as (bolded) the OP used.
This could well be a mis-type - or it could (possibly) be a firm trying to mislead.

Yes, this is the advice I need.  I'm thinking of transferring my DB pension.  Thanks

You may be aware of this already, but if your DB pension is worth more than £30K, you are obliged to pay for expensive financial advice before you can transfer it.  This costs several thousands pounds, sometimes more.

If the adviser tells you that it's not in your interest to transfer out (which is the case in 80%+ of cases), and you still insist that you want to transfer out as an "insistent client", the only way you can do this is by transferring out into a Stakeholder pension (since stakeholder pensions are not permitted to refuse to accept transfers).  Most mainstream providers do not accept transfers in from DB pensions directly.

Thanks.  They have quoted a  £4k charge.

I'm getting the impression that it is not a good idea to transfer a Defined Benefit Pension into an annuity
