Not heard of them, but from their website they appear not to be a scam, plus there was a thread about them on here some years ago.
They seem to specialise in advice relating to transfers out of Defined Benefit ( final salary) schemes, not general financial advice.
OP is this the sort of advice you were actually looking for ?1 -
The latest company accounts show a big 65% drop in turnover between 2023 and 2024

https://find-and-update.company-information.service.gov.uk/company/09437056To be clear, this is "Pensionhelp Ltd" - the OP also uses the term "Pension Help Ltd", three words, and not two. Hopefully this wasn't a cold call, the OP has assumed comes from the company listed at Companies House.Cloned companies are all too common these days.2 -

OP website (stated as pensionhelp.co.uk) …My suggested Company on Companies House …I am not arguing about what you posted @Firedreamer.All I wanted to point out that when the OP posted:Hi, I've had the following company recommended for giving advice and wanted to know if anyone knows anything about them. Pension Help Ltd Manchester (pensionhelp.co.uk) ThanksThe company at the OP's link "pensionhelp.co.uk", and that you have given details of in Manchester do not have the exact same name as (bolded) the OP used. This could well be a mis-type - or it could (possibly) be a firm trying to mislead.1 -

If the adviser tells you that it's not in your interest to transfer out (which is the case in 80%+ of cases), and you still insist that you want to transfer out as an "insistent client", the only way you can do this is by transferring out into a Stakeholder pension (since stakeholder pensions are not permitted to refuse to accept transfers). Most mainstream providers do not accept transfers in from DB pensions directly.1 -
Thanks. They have quoted a £4k charge.0

I'm getting the impression that it is not a good idea to transfer a Defined Benefit Pension into an annuity0
