I'm having a problem with Amazon not refunding me for none delivery, they are wanting a crime report which the police wont give me with out proof it was delivered, also said this is becoming very common with Amazon.
Spoke to Amazon and they are been abrupt and not very helpfull, Cusomer Service just end the chat and wont engage with me anymore. I emailed Directors office and this guy called Ralf was assigned to help me. He is so obnoxious deliberitly winding me up wont help at all, I asked him for evidence for the police to the goods were deliveried and his reply was "we dont send internal documents to customers" Now I'm just been ignored.
Not sure what else todo I paid on Klarna 3x instalments but I cant raise it with them till Sunday the 9th Febuary what other option do I have, so bitter about this and will never be using Amazon again. People need to be aware of the risk they are putting them selfs in ordering from them, drivers dont knock they just dump the parcel and run thats if they ever bring the parcel in the first place whats to say the parcel was scanned and they he tuck it home with him its so anoying £149 lost
all small good in the order so cant make a section 25 claim

Do any of your neighbours have camera doorbells, or are there any shops around that might have CCTV? I've not heard of any problems with returns from Amazon to be honest. it may depend on how many have gone missing in your area. Have you ever claimed against this before? What did the police say when you said you have to have a POlice report? Is there nothing else they can do to help?0

What is it that happened?
The parcel wasn't delivered at all, but was marked as delivered?
The parcel was delivered, but was empty?0 -
Have you got an email confirming delivery?
Is that not proof?0 -

Amazon undoubtedly keeps records of who's doing the delivery and the rate of non-delivery complaints against them. The driver will rarely have any idea of the contents of the packages so if they are stealing them themselves they will quickly be found out and could end up with nothing more than a series of shoe laces and boxes of tiles from the random ones they swiped.
We dont have many problems with Amazon deliveries, the main one is that some will dump all the parcels in the communal hallway of the main building rather than going to each door and then randomly select something like "left with post room" or "handed to receptionist" as the delivery code. Only had one such parcel disappear in 7 years so its just an inconvenience to dig out the code for the door as we dont otherwise go there.
Do occasionally see parcels left either leaning against the door or "hidden" under the doormat (doesn't really work on a box thats 50cm high) but other couriers are just as guilty of that as Amazon.
Video doorbells can be useful in dealing with disputes, ours did capture a courier delivering a parcel (not Amazon) and just half pushed it through the letterbox and then 15 minutes later someone coming along and taking it. Police were uninterested because the person had a covid style mask on so "couldn't be identified". Was useful when dealing with the courier and the vendor (who immediately sent a replacement FoC)0
