Good morning, thanks for starting Gers.
It seems to be damp out there, must have rained overnight.
I'm going to the book club at the library this morning, then it'll just be the usual day of household stuff.
Hope everyone has a good day, thoughts to the poorlies, take care folks.13 -
Morning allIcy out there again this morning.Off out for a browse round large shoping centre today. There is a particular chocolate shop there that I need to get something from and what better place to get your steps in where you'll be dry and warm, oh and plenty of coffee shops to choose from tooApart from that hope everyone has a good day x12

Morning all
I’m off to mid Wales with some friends until Saturday so will wish everyone well especially the sad and poorlies; and hope you all have a good week.AA15 -
Happy holiday @Allie - have a great week. Now I'm no longer snug. I'd love to stay in bed longer but just can't. Outside is still dank, manky with rain on the horizon, much the same as yesterday. Despite not going out I did a lot of wee chores including bringing in and storing the big packet of loo rolls and kitchen rolls which had been lingering for too long in my car boot. That required a little bit of juggling of stuff in the small barn, again, something I'd been putting off for ages. On the way to bed I remembered to bring the WD40 bottle with me as some of the drawer tracks needed freeing. It made such a difference, one wee squirt along each track removed the sticking which so annoyed me. Happiness was achieved in under five minutes. As heavy rain is forecasted I will stay indoors again. There's the weekly banking to tackle - the monthly one will get done tomorrow. I have tomato soup for lunch and more parma ham and cream cheese to use up for a sandwich.Take care everyone, hugs to all, especially our poorlies.13

Morning everyone I’m off out to meet my friend soon for a coffee and a catch up it’s chilly but dry then back to do housework I should have the cleanest house on the planet but I haven’t it just seems a never ending tidying up but I think I sometimes look for jobs talking about jobs I have filled a form out to volunteer at the local hospice shop it’s just one afternoon a week and the manager said it will be a while before I hear anything as they are big changes happening at the hospice so fingers crossed. Allie enjoy your time away Chrisca I couldn’t be trusted in a chocolate shop . Thinking of all the poorlies hugs to those that need them have a good day everyone whatever you are doing12

Morning all and thanks for the start @Gers - am I correct in thinking it’s your birthday this week?I’m food shopping this morning with Mum then we are out with DSis this afternoon. I also have some parcels to post and a library book to return. I won’t be going back to KnK - I don’t currently have a project so will wait until I do. I’ve picked my cross stitch back up but need a mahoosive magnifier to do it so it’s not a very mobile hobby.Dinner is pork and apple burgers with slaw mmmmm.Have a good day all and hugs to the poorlies including the DGC x

Morning folks and thanks GERS. We seem to be promised quite a nice day here! Sunny intervals, no rain and set to reach the dizzy heights of 9 deg, before colder weather is set to return towards the end of the week.
I seem to have a busy week ahead, it's all or nothing! This morning I have the hairdresser coming to give me a good trim. But hopefully not too good as I don't want scalping! I already feel more presentable after colouring my hair yesterday in readiness for the cut. Once she has gone the usual jobs will be waiting if I feel so inclined.
Have a good day folks if you can and ((HUGS)) for our poorlies, sad or lonely. Have a good break AA, hope the weather is kind for you. Also SS, enjoy your trip also. Take care all stay safe xx

Morning all
It feels very cold here this morning I will have to give the heating a blast for another hour, just Rob coming today but we are meeting his friend and having lunch out after some activity or other we couldn’t decide so will have a think before he comes.Dinner tonight will be meatballs in tomato sauce with pasta dd is off today so I’m sure she will cook I have Rob till 5 again this week I’m not sure if mum is out or not I will probably find out more as the week goes on.
I have put a wash on this morning and will hang it on the airer before I go out I don’t think it’s worth hanging it out as it’s too cold, I will run the hoover over this morning too.
Allie have a good week away xx
Have good days all and take care xx12 -
Morning all, seems a bit brighter this morning. Nothing to report really, we had a very quiet day yesterday, apart from a short walk, then DH watched football on tv and I pottered in the kitchen. We had our lamb shanks etc.,very tasty & I made some low carb buns. DS1 was out all day and just fixed up a burger when he got home.Today we have the l.o curry so an easy tea after picking up DGS.Time for another cuppa, take care all:heartsmil 'A woman is like a teabag: You never know her strength until you drop her in hot water'. Morning all
It's flippin' cold here as we still have no central heating. Put the immersion on for a short while earlier to get some hot water but am eagerly awaiting 9am and a decision on fixing the boiler.
Luckily we were away Saturday night and then out all day Sunday so there was only last night to shiver and bear it
If it can't be fixed today we're off to the Garden Centre for some lunch and a browse.
Take care everyone and stay safe13
