Bank switch - Lloyds

I have a longstanding current account with lloyds which wouldne ever close or switch from, theres too much going on with it, and a useful overdraft. I also have a current account with another bank which i dont use but intend to set up a few low value direct debits for switch purposes. . When/if the lloyds switches come round again, would they allow me to open another current account and pay the switch money or cant it be done if i already ahve an account with them?
Thanks

It depends whether the terms are new customers only or existing customers too
I am with Santander and was paid £200 when I switched another bank into it.0 -
Nobody can predict the future, but it was easy to check that their last offer was "Available to new and existing customers who open and switch into a new Club Lloyds account, Club Lloyds Platinum account, or Club Lloyds Silver account"designeditdesignedit said:When/if the lloyds switches come round again, would they allow me to open another current account and pay the switch money or cant it be done if i already ahve an account with them?0 -
@designeditdesignedit £175 offer starts tomorrow, includes existing as long as you switch into a new club account not your existing account - read the terms carefully of course. And you've probably got til end of March.0

Last offer was April 2020 cut off for people who had received the offer before0

Each offer is usually slightly different so we can't really say for certain, but based on past incentives you should be okay. What type of Lloyds current account do you currently hold? Usually Lloyds switching incentives don't exclude existing customers, but they usually do require you to open a new "Club" account and switch into that. The annoying part is that you can usually only hold one of these at a time. If you existing account is a Club account then you might need to downgrade to the non-Club variant first to then allow you to open a new Club account to then meet the terms of the switching offer.designeditdesignedit said:I have a longstanding current account with lloyds which wouldne ever close or switch from, theres too much going on with it, and a useful overdraft. Is this going to only be for those not having a switching offer since 2020?blue_eyes said:@designeditdesignedit £175 offer starts tomorrow, includes existing as long as you switch into a new club account not your existing account - read the terms carefully of course. I think it's live. Switch Bank Account To Us | UK Bank Accounts | Lloyds Bank
Can someone confirm, are all the available current accounts fee paying ones? I can see that they will waive the £3 per month fee if you pay in >£2k, but do they have any free current accounts that will still pay the switch bonus?1 -
No, all the qualifying accounts involve a monthly fee.winkowinko said:I think it's live. Switch Bank Account To Us | UK Bank Accounts | Lloyds Bank
