Single Insurance or Family Insurance

I am going on holiday with my daughter and family to the Canary Islands. I was just about to take out a single person holiday insurance. ....when I thought......if my daughter and partner have to cancel for any reason on their travel insurance would I be able to cancel on my single person insurance because of this...would I be covered. Or should I be included in their policy?

You'd need to check the policy terms to see if yours would cover cancellation, but if you're travelling as a group then it would generally give you more options to insure as one.1

A group policy would be better.
