Are dividend vouchers showing withholding tax available on Interactive Investor

Hi, I have investment accounts with both Hargreaves Lansdown and A J Bell and I'm considering opening one with Interactive Investor.
For such a large company HL are VERY poor at providing Dividend Vouchers, which I require as they show the withholding tax on US dividends. It is necessary to send them a secure message asking them for a voucher for each and every US dividend. A real pain!
A J Bell on the other hand, make the dividend voucher available as part of the dividend transaction, so it is always a click away. It's about time HL did the same.
Can anyone tell me what the situation is with dividend vouchers showing withholding tax on the II platform?

tbh I don't know the answer to your question, but as I am only subject to UK tax I have only ever needed the year end tax certificate summary which shows the amount of the withholding per dividend0

Ii do not supply individual dividend vouchers for US stocks or any other country that I am aware.milleniumaire said:Hi, I have investment accounts with both Hargreaves Lansdown and A J Bell and I'm considering opening one with Interactive Investor.

However subject to your having signed off a W-8 Ben ( a condition for any US investment ), ii supplies a consolidated year end tax certificate detailling in dollars the gross , US tax ( at 15%) and net dividend received for UK tax reporting purposes.
This is all I needed for self assessment purposes not at all sure why you need the individual dividend vouchers ( as they arise). I don't see what purpose the vouchers would serve if your only concern is year end tax compliance. II makes the consolidated tax certificate available in May each year, so not a long wait.2 -
I need the dividend vouchers because I use a separate tool to record all my investments and keep track of them all in one place. I also like to store the electronic dividend vouchers as they are a record of the details for the dividend that was paid.
I receive dividend vouchers for all my UK investments and on the AJ Bell platform, for all US investments also. In the UK, for managed funds, dividend vouchers are seen as important enough to mail them to me individually, but it seems some online investment companies don't give them the same priority.
I won't be using II if they aren't able to provide this detail as and when the dividend occurs. A year end consolidation is simply not acceptable to me.

If it is just for personal use, then you can calculate it yourself using a simple formula. It seems like a case for moving all your US stocks to AJ Bell if you like their system of notification, which I can see would be a useful reminder for you to enter the details into your separate tool.0
