Was curious about this new entrant to the etf world and reason behind the quantum of funds attracted in a relatively short period. Link below gave a little more insight and the fact that it is a product  of American Century Investments ( who I had never heard of).

So next question who are American Century Investments? See link below.

Having read the above, next question ( of course ) is who are the Stower Institute? See link below

    https://www.stowers.org/

At this point , I am thinking do I want to have a flutter on a new etf where the ultimate fiscal ownership structure lies in the hands of an obscure  ( well obscure to me ) American bio research institute.

At this point i now have an irrational image of a group of 'mad scientists'  launching a seemingly innoucous investment product to an unsuspecting investing community for purposes diificult for me to fathom. At this point my appetite for further discovery died.

Please excuse my having brought  down the tone of what has been a dispassionate analytical 'tear down' of this new investment product, but on the plus side I  think I have an interesting plot idea for an exciting Netflix thriller  🤔

Being serious for a moment,   would I have been similarly sceptical  had this been an etf where the ownership structure led to say Harvard University ( who has one of the most successful endowment investment teams in the world) , or even the fabled Norwegian Soverign fund investment committee?  Certainly not I have heard of and respect both. My bias is I have never heard Stower , those who have maybe less concerned.
