Good morning, thanks Gers.
Thank heavens January's over, it seems to have been the longest January ever.
I'll pop back later to see what everyone is up to.13 -
Yesterday was a glorious, though very cold, day. The drive down to my hairdresser was so lovely and even more lovely on the way back. Clear and sunny views across to Arran, even the wee ferry looked beautiful against the blue skies. My hair is now tamed and recoloured. What a great walk round memories @Coxy.I have no plans for today so will see what pops up. Good luck to @Snoozer's Esben today. Hugs to all our poorlies.17

Morning, happy Saturday.
Dull start to the day, yesterday was miserable all day, even had lights on in the afternoon, but hey, its February, spring to look forward to.
Sorted out the wardrobe yesterday, so all nice and tidy, some to go to CS. No plans for today, DH will be watching the rugby later.
Hope all goes well for Esben today, and big hugs to dp1's dgd. Have a good day all, take care.14 -
Good morning
Thank you for the start @Gers
Dry today put extremely cold.
Nothing much planned, maybe tidy a shelf or drawer somewhere.
Take care

Hi everyone,
We've been up since 6. Esben is at the hospital with L and B and we're being bossed around by Esther.
Hopefully we'll have news by lunchtime.
Have a good day.16 -
Hope it all goes well for Esben
going for my usual Sat morning coffee ,then must pack for next week .
Another kitchen drawer sorted yesterday ,why did I keep so much junk !
have a good day all14 -
Morning folks and thanks GERS. I think February has brought marginally milder weather with it and we have blue sky emerging too. Yesterday was drab and cold all day.
I stripped my bed earlier, the valance sheet is currently washing away with some other whites. The duvet cover will follow but I doubt either will be getting pegged out. I have yet to remake the bed but I have to do that in stages these days! Old age has a lot to answer for!
Other than that plans are fluid and I am still waiting to hear from DS as to whether ss will be today or tomorrow. It matters not to me. Have a good day all if you can and ((HUGS)) for our poorlies, sad or lonely. I hope all goes well for ESBEN and that LITTLE ONE progresses well. Take care all, stay safe xx"If you dream alone it will remain just a dream. But if we all dream together it will become reality"14 -
Morning all
We had a lovely lunch at a friend's house yesterday and today we are off to Leicestershire for an evening event.
Unfortunately we have woken up to no heating so DH is messaging the chap who put the boiler in and will see what he says. I've just lit some tea lights and will keep moving! Luckily we have an electric shower so we'll be clean at least
Hope Esben's op goes as planned today and best wishes to all the poodles.14 -
Good morning
I hope every one is waking up feeling ok this morning. Or those with worries have someone to share them with.
I went out last night. I know two nights in a row-it was a special event so felt I couldn't miss it and was at one of my favourite venues as well. Popped for an ''obligatory'' take away at the end of the night and the owner recognised me despite me not being in for a number of years. I don't think I was home too late and the head isn't that bad seeing as im up and dressed. Want a day in though, so have ordered an uber for bits and bats, which isn't very money saving but means i can hold of on getting my weekly bus ticket till tue which will last till the monday after. if i bought it today i would waste tomorrow and mon not using it. What else. Might update my family tree on ancestry and my bf bought me Lego incredibles switch game for Christmas, switch is all charged to play that. Ive played most of the lego games over the years on different hand held consoles-if you are into that sort of thing or waant something different to do they are relatively easy games to wile away the time.
Lunch will be hm lentil soup. Dinner chicken and rice x
Enjoy your Saturday whether in relaxing or up to something exciting12 -
Morning everyone
It's to be dry all day here so I've hung some washing out.
DD and little one got home yesterday, she rang me when I got back from work, full of chat about her hospital stay, unfazed by it all as usual. She told me 'I'm not eating granny but I expect I will when I'm ready' Hopefully she'll get back to school just for the mornings next week as her milk feed is every three hours.
This morning I'm going to finish sorting ready for my bedroom furniture swop over ready for Monday and then a lazy afternoon.
Snoozer I hope all goes smoothly for Esben today
Have a good day everyone x15
