Paying rent with standing order issues

With all of my previous landlords, I have paid my rent by standing order on the 1st of the month. When the due date fell on a weekend, it was automatically paid the next working day and this has never been an issue.
However, my new landlord seems to be asking that the rent is paid on or before the 1st even if that falls on a weekend. I have 2 jobs which pay my salary on the next to last working day of the month and the last Thursday of the month.
Given all if this, am I correct that there is no way to set up a standing order that will be paid after I have been paid (by at least one job), but also on or before the 1st of each month? Are there any banks that have the option of paying standing orders before rather than after weekends when their due date falls on a weekend? This is really frustrating as it seems like a thing that should be easily to work around. I don't really want to have to rely on manually sorting it each month as it seems like a recipe for mistakes.

Starling pays on the exact date even if it's the weekend or a holiday.0

Firstly this LL request isn't going to be enforceable by the LL. If you're always paying within 2 days, then I doubt a judge would see that as an evictable offense and late interest costs would only kick in after 14 days. So while its worth trying to accommodate the request where possible to preseve the relationship its not the end of the world if you cant.
Would the first job wages cover the rent (just)? If so, schedule it for the 30th of the month before:
- First job wages would be paid in on or before the 30th
- Second job wages would be in by 30th unless its a 31 day month with the last day being 31st.
- If 1st is a weekday, then its paid on time either way.
- If 1st is a saturday then paying on 30th is a Thurs or Fri which is fine every month except for Feb.
- If 1st is a sunday then paying on paying 30th is fine for 31 day months, whereas on 28/30 day months its 1 day late.
- That leaves new years day and the event that 1st May is a monday.
Basically you end up with a handful of occasions when the rent is 1-2 days late, and once the LL gets used to your rent otherwise coming in regularly, they'll hopefully chill out.0 -
The LL is not allowed in law to demand rent in advance. So if the rent date falls on a weekend/BH then the LL will just have to wait.0

""General points
Rent becomes due on the morning of the day specified for payment in the lease or tenancy agreement, but is not overdue and the landlord does not have cause of action, until midnight on that day.[1] Rent can be payable on a Sunday, but where the rent due day falls on a bank holiday, it will not be payable until the following day.[2] """
Milly, does your tenancy specify rent in advance please??0
