Targetted by scammer

Today I was targetted by a scammer who said they were calling me regarding medical testing. I had testing done recently by a private company, so the scam sounded convincing.
She said she might have the wrong person, so she asked for my details. She received the following info:
- Name
- Date of birth
- E-mail address
After this, the call ended. On one hand, I think the information given was quite limited. Then again, it was the scammer who ended the call which makes me think they have all of the information needed to complete their scam.
What action should I take now to protect myself from scams?

It does not sound too serious, as they have no bank account details, mobile phone number etc.
You can not change your name ( well you can but would be a bit OTT) or DOB.
I would just be extra careful opening any e mails, and as always do not open any attachments, or click on any links, unless you are really sure who the sender is.
Are you sure it was not actually the company who did your recent testing. It is unusual for a scammer to hang up so quickly.0 -
If you do not have multi-factor authentication turned on for your email or bank accounts then it might be good to set these up.Past caring about first world problems.0

I googled the phone number and there were a number of people saying the same thing; the person on the phone seemed unsure of what they were doing, asked for personal details, then would say they had the wrong person. Other people were saying it was a scam also.
The phone number is linked to a website, but I believe that could be a dummy website to make the scam more convincing.0 -

As already mentioned you may be making a leap of faith that this is a scam.
Have you contacted the medical company to check with them?
IF it’s is nefarious - expect to be bombarded with emails - be careful what you open and I certainly would t respond in anyway to them0
