My bank branch in our small town closed so I'm considering opening a current account with the local Post Office. Are they much different from the mainstream banks? What's wrong using your existing account at the post office for branch functions?

Nothing if you trust their competence and I.T. systems. Speaking only for myself I don't.

Never had any issue using the PO for banking functions
