Debt and need a 0% Balance Transfer Card

Hello. I have some debts that I need to pay off and I saw MLMSE on tv the other day talking about 0% balance transfer. However, I have used the eligibility calculator and I am not eligible for any. What can I do?

It can be worth trying a lender's own eligibility checker on their own website.  These tend to be slightly more accurate, as they know what their own particular lending criteria are.
But if you're not eligible for any BT (or MT) cards, then you'll need to tackle the debts the old-fashioned way.  If you wish, you can head on over to the Debt-Free Wannabe board, post an SOA and receive some helpful advice about where you can make savings in your budget to allow you to pay down the debts more quickly.

I agree with Clive. If the checker is showing that you can't get these deals then that is a sign that you may have come to the end of that road

Don't dismiss 0% spending cards if you are eligible for some. If you switch your spending to such a card, you can use the 'saved' money to pay off other debt(s) gradually.

For a lot of people this is a quick route to even more unaffordable debt!

    What sort of debts?

As balance transfer only works on other credit cards & not all of them at that.
