Hi we bought a new build property 10 years ago however we have been in the process of selling since August 😑 we have had the issue with our front garden there is a tiny bit of land that still belonged to persimmon the builders due to them not updating land registry with the adjustment 10 years ago, everything has been sent to land registry and it has been expedited does anyone know how much longer it should take as our buyer and also the property we are buying are getting extremely impatient 😞

@Land_Registry, think they previously suggested they don't merge titles, but might arrange that you have both titles? If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing0

Expedition generally gets the application to the processing start line within 10 days. Thereafter timescales will usually depend on two things. The first is what else is pending against the developer's title - if there are prior applications then they have to be considered first before the later expedite application can be processed/completed.
The second is that the application is in order.
If you want to check on progress ask your conveyancer or use our contact form - Public guidance: dealing with land and property - GOV.UK
NB - if the application is for amalgamation as well re the extra land and main property then this may delay matters if we approve the request. A merger is something else and where a leasehold title is merged into it's superior, usually a freehold, title and that's not what your application is based on your post“Official Company Representative
