Santander Switch Direct debits question

If you switch to santander  for the switching  bonus, does the donor  account  need to have 2 DD set up, or can you add them after the switch  to the santander  account  itself?

Well, they say 

Within 60 days of initial switch request, you must have: ... 2 active Direct Debits on your eligible account.

IMHO, this is perfectly clear

As above, you have up to 60 days from requesting the switch to add DDs to your new Santander account (ie. not from when the switch completes). These can be set up by moving them over as a part of the switch or done yourself manually after the switch. Just make sure it's done within the 60 day limit.

It just so far all the switches I've done have been DD on the donor account  and carried over.
