Horizon Parking now Debt recovery Plus/Empira

Hi People
Looking for a bit of Advice. My wife got PCN 23/4/2024 and decided to ignore it. Debt recovery plus took over and demanded £125, she had 5 letters from them. Noe she has a letter from Empira demanding £125. She is now recovering from injury and wants to get rid of this worry. I read on another thread that £100 was the max they can go to but can I insist that Horizon let me pay them?+

Have you read the NEWBIES THREAD Announcement? Post 4 then 2.

Inform your MP of the long standing private parking problem. Motorists need Govt to protect them from this industry's greedy nasty behaviours.

    • email your MP, easy with Smoof's template letter (change to suit your situation)
    • sign/share petition demanding re-launch of Govt-backed Parking Code

If you'd come here at the time it would have been killed off with one email.  That was a silly time to ignore it (when a certain appeal would have won sooo easily) but of course she must ignore it now.

You don't pay these scumbags just because they are sending letters with a bit of red ink on them!  Empira are not acting as bailiffs. There is nothing to be scared of and zero reason to try to pay this rubbish to make it go away!

Read the 4th post of the NEWBIES thread.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
