Morning All
Cold but dry this morning, may have to scrape the car windscreen - haven't looked yet.
Lovely to be back at work yesterday although it was extremely busy, the day fly by. More to do today, we have a mini inspection next week so lots of tidying up to do.
Hope more money is forthcoming Ruby, can't believe it wasn't sorted out right at the start.
Goodness Mehefin, workmen can be hopeless.
Hope your DDad is nicer to you today Nanny.
Glad you managed to sort the chicken SO.
Must dash, hope everyone is well. Take care. XX15 -

Good morning
Thank you for the start @Gers
Very cold this morning. Going to the walk so I'll have to do my usual impression of Michelin man.
Yesterday was quite mild, managed an hour in the garden.
Take careIf you walk at night no-one will see you cry.15 -
Good morning, dry and frosty here. Yesterday started sunny, then the rain came.
I wasn't out at all yesterday, just busy round the house. Dd and Dgs called after school to pick up a large pile of magazines that I'd kept for her.
There's various jobs I could be doing today, still haven't sorted the garden out, really should do that.
Hope everyone has as good a day as they can, take care folks.17 -
Morning folks and thanks GERS. Cold and frosty here, brr. Yesterday we had sun but it didn't feel any warmer for it. Today we are forecast similar.
Flying visit from me. I was showered, fed and watered in record time as one of my SILs is picking me up when she has dropped her DGC off at school. Been there, done that and remember how school times ruled your life! We are having a run to a nice shopping outlet that I haven't been to for ages, so it will make a nice change. I am hoping to keep my purse tightly shut (except for a bit of lunch) but I could easily be tempted.
Have a good day folks if you can and ((HUGS)) for our poorlies, sad or lonely. Thinking too of the junior poorlies and hope SNOOZER and DP1's DGC are soon sorted out. Take care all stay safe xx"If you dream alone it will remain just a dream. But if we all dream together it will become reality"17 -
Hi all
It’s lovely to see ☀️ and watch the sky turn pink - looks chilly though.I enjoyed my trip to look at some new campervans yesterday - lots to think about and numbers to crunch. I’m not rushing any decisions and have others to look at.Big walk needed I think plus some outside jobs later if it’s stays dry and warms up.
Best wishes to all the poorlies and especially DP1s LO.AA13 -
Morning all
Dry here for now but more rain due later I think, I am off to collect Rob today but we are not going to work we have a meeting at lunchtime here so we will have a day at home, the meeting is with a residential place where he can go for respite we had one yesterday as well so will see how it goes today.
Not sure about dinner tonight but there is plenty of choice I’m hoping OH will cook as I won’t be in till late again, dd is working a sleep in so won’t be here for dinner.
I have emailed Robs sister asking her to up the budget for next week she emailed me back saying she is fed up with all the running around and she hopes it stops soon 🙄
I will need to have a tidy through and hoover when we get back which will give me a head start on the weekend cleaning.
Have good days all and take care xx14 -
Morning
Cold start to the day here, but sunshine is forecast. Yesterday started sunny but soon clouded over at least it stayed dry and I managed to get a wash load dry.
This sunshine is giving me a burst of energy, I don't know whether to sort out my wardrobe, which badly needs doing or go shopping for the monthly stock up. I know how to live.
No idea what's for dinner, I cooked the chicken thighs in a garlic and herb coating which I thought worked well, but DH left half of his, so maybe not as good as I thought. I will ask his lordship what he may eat tonight, annoyed? Me? Just a tad.
Have a good day all, hugs as usual to our sad and poorlies. Take care14 -
Morning everyone I’m off to do a cleaning job soon then straight from there to get my haircut it’s like a mop she had to cancel my appointment last week as she had no electricity with the storm . It’s a chilly one today enjoy your walk SO I had to ask a young lad to get me something of the bottom shelf in Lidl because I had so many layers on I couldn’t bend and when I started unzipping them I realised I must have looked like a shop lifter going to put things in my secret inside pockets . I hope all the little ones are getting better must dash . Thinking of all the poorlies hugs to those that need them have a good day everyone whatever you are doing15
