It looks like I'm in victorian London here in South Wales, the fog is so bad! It's not cold though, and it's not torrential raining!

It's mostly looking like Victorian London in London too! Has cleared a fair bit this evening though so hopefully.. * checks forecast *, oh, it's going to rain until the forecast runs out 😐

I worked 9 til 4 yesterday then drove until 9.30pm to get to the hotel for work today. I was not impressed by the bar and restaurant not serving at 9.30, they didn't even have a vending machine or anything so I could get a snack. Luckily I had some Maltesers in my car. The receptionist suggested I get something from JustEat, but that's not really the point when work have paid £25 for me to have an evening meal. They could have at least warned us on the booking confirmation.

Worked 9.30 til 4.15 today then had another long drive back. I got home at 8.30pm. My bottom is numb.

If I have to do this a couple of times a month I really need to figure out how to make it work better for me. I'm very impressed that my body could handle it. I'm exhausted now so I'll have an early night.

Big day tomorrow, wfh because the boxes are finally being collected!! 🎉

As someone who also travels a fair bit for work I feel your pain on the lack of options for late arrivals. I have normally ended up at a local takeaway but as you say that isn't the point. Although to be honest given some of the food I have ended up with malteasers sounds pretty good alternative 😂

I am often grateful for my messy car with random useful things in it @footyfandan !

In other news, I am so glad I cried off travelling to another meeting this morning because the removals company turned up at 9:30 instead of after 1. So finally, the boxes have gone from my living room!!! I am ecstatic!

I am totally believing that those boxes, and the associated palavers, have been to blame for everything wrong in my life and I will be like a new woman now. This is the first day of the rest of my life😄 No more storage units, no more auctions, no more boxes! (ok there are still a few random bits dotted around but those are mostly things that need sorting/binning/donating and should really only take an hour or so).

I will be consuming some prosecco this evening and properly celebrating this massive achievement. Might even get a cake! 🍾🍰
