No idea @jwil but I was only there for 2 years so I wasn't expecting much.
I've had a grumpy couple of days. Work and weather and just general February feelings. Today a cancelled meeting meant I could take a lunch break and catch up on here. Unfortunately my laptop made a snapping noise then a metallic whirring noise and I've shut it down immediately. I really don't want to lose everything on there. I also don't want to have to buy a new laptop. Aarrgghhhh!!
In slightly better news I booked a flight for a weekend away with friends. The flights were 120 when the trip was first suggested. I was waiting for the wages from the 3rd job and to find a dog sitter. By last night there were only 4 flights left and they'd gone up to £250 😭 I had to borrow the money out of the pot that has my kitchen tiles money saved in. Not ideal but I couldn't risk waiting any longer. I have saved £150 on a dog sitter though.

I'm too scared to turn it on @LzzyIsGod but I'm pretty sure it is. I've ordered a USB stick, I'll attempt to turn it on tomorrow and quickly transfer everything onto it to be on the safe side.
Gurgle says it's either a fan (could last a bit longer if I can keep it cool and use it for short periods) or hard drive (dead). Either way I use my laptop daily and can't do without one, but hopefully I can manage without til payday.

Yet again I finished the working week further behind than I started, but I did get one of the big tasks done one evening and I'm going to do another one this weekend as it needs to be done by the end of the month and I just don't have a big enough chunk of time in the working week to focus on it
I almost put joggers on to wfh yesterday but last minute grabbed my favourite green jumper, jeans, and put my posh emerald earrings in. Lets postpone that spiral for another day.
I've drunk not much else but Pepsi Max all week, so today I will make sure I drink plenty of water and take all of my supplements. I've also not taken one of my meds for 3 or 4 days because it's not in the place it should be and when I go to take it and realise it just seems so far away 🙄 I'll add that to my list today.
It's a double edged sword being physically healthier because I've pushed myself far more than I should have and not been taking enough care of myself. When I had to take great care just to be able to function it was much more of a priority. I am very grateful that I'm relatively well now, grateful on a daily basis for all the things I can do, but I've noticed some old patterns creeping back in and they need to be nipped in the bud!
I couldn't do my weekly finances because I can't get onto my laptop but everything seems ok for the final week of the month.
There's quite a lot of things I need to buy and I'm not sure my wages, even with the increase, will cover them. Actually I'm pretty sure it won't. I'm still waiting for the wages from the extra temp job so that will help.
Today I will be resting a bit, giving myself some extra care, but also spending a few hours doing something that will make me feel like I'm getting somewhere.

Ok now I've got the moping out of the way.... This week I also managed to book flights for a mini break with friends, I went out for a meal with a friend and they paid. It was delicious. I donated 4 throws to the dog rescue, 2 pairs of new running/, compression socks to a friend, I've binned a pair of jeans with holes in that I was still was wearing to work, and I've started a new bag of clothes for the charity bin. 2 tops in it so far
Over the week I've also sorted through a bag of 'stuff' that contained a level paperwork from 1996 and an English folder from second year of high school 🙄 I did keep a couple of bits that made me smile and some negatives from a college trip that I'd like to see properly again one day.
So I am still getting somewhere with some things!

I spent the week moping so I thought I'd spare you all that.
I've made it to payday (in the morning). I've just planned out my wages. Most of my payrise (65%) was taken up in deductions but I'm trying to stay positive. It really has not been worth all the extra work this month though.
I've got one long official day at work then a week off. It is much needed.
Some unexpected spends this week with a visit to the vets, but my laptop and washing machine are both continuing to limp on as long as I use them carefully.
I'm gonna have a bloody good word with myself next week. I'm also gonna do some useful stuff and have lots of rest.

Hope you feel a bit brighter soon. Well done on reducing your overdraft and paying the loan
