    I know it can be a disappointing feeling when you are having to dip into that emergency fund, but as others have commented, it isn't like you are using it to fund a spending spree, you are using it for exactly what it is designed for. It is important at times to sit back and look at how much progress you have made and emergencies are different for each individual. Well done on the no debt Christmas.
