Smart Parking - Northern Ireland

Register Keeper has received a PCN for £60 - paid for insufficient time.
The fee was paid, but the individual who paid entered an incorrect registration number. We have the receipt and the date/time ties up with the date/time on the PCN. I think cash was used to pay, so no bank transaction as evidence.
I know we're in Northern Ireland so plan to ignore unless advice is to appeal as the fee was paid and evidence in the form of the original receipt is available. I'm minded to ignore the PCN regardless and keep the receipt in a safe place just in case as any communication may make matters worse.

Ignore. Here's one like yours from today:

PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
CLICK at the top or bottom of any page where it says:

Thanks, I shall ignore.
4th PCN in my family circle in fewer weeks - 3 of which were in NI. Haven’t had a single one in the previous 4 or 5 years. None of these were down to me, but I end up doing the leg work. 😀
Thanks again.Jim.2
