Extended warranty for mobility scooter

I bought a Baja Wrangler 2 mobiltiy scooter in July 24 for £3700.
This was a massive purchase for me, I've managed the last 25 years with second hand but decided that getting older I wanted something more comfortable.
So I made the purchase, I did not opt for the extended warranty at the time as I've never had any issues with my scooters or powered wheelchairs, oh what a mistake!
Within 2 months this brand new scooter was back at the retailer for a month and ended up having the whole front end replaced under warranty, new wheels, suspension etc.
Now it's just come back for the second time after a problem on the rear end, again fixed under warranty.
The manufacturer warranty is only 1 year, and I'm a bit worried now about things going wrong after this.
I have got the option of extending the warranty for a further 1, 2, 3 or 4 years with the retailer for up to £469 that will cover parts and labour etc.
This does seem a bit excessive and there is no direct debit option.
Does anyone know of any other company that offers extended warranty as opposed to insurance for mobility scooters please?
Cheers
Duncan

Duncanallows you to get a years cover at a time (no multi year available) and no idea as to the cost either......https://www.surewise.com/mobility-scooter-insurance/articles/scooter-warranty-takes-the-worry-out-of-repair-costs/ appears to be an insurance add on - but may be cheaper ?4 year is about £299 for value up to £6000There are many options
If I was half as smart as I think I am - I'd be twice as smart as I REALLY am.1 -
If it needed so much work done you should have really been given the choice of a new one. Speak to trading standards, it seems the one you bought was not fit for purpose.0

I did try this, and firstly I could not get to speak to Trading Standards, but Citizens Advice said that I had to give the company the the option to fix the faults first and if further issues happened then we could look at it again.MayDogsandCoffee said:If it needed so much work done you should have really been given the choice of a new one. Thank you for those, I'll check them all out. My 1 year warranty does not expire until July, so I do have a bit of time to find something. CheersMouldyOldDough said:drt1710 said:I bought a Baja Wrangler 2 mobiltiy scooter in July 24 for £3700.
