Ii were to pay my annual golf fees £950 using a Credit Card and the golf course goes into liquidation after 6 months would I be able to use section 75 to claim back 50% of the monies paid as they have failed to supply the goods/services for the full year?

If the payment was clearly for provision of services for a full year then yes, a s75 claim for breach of contract would be viable if provision stopped early for whatever reason....0

No need for S75, you would have chargeback rights.👍worriedgolfer said:Ii were to pay my annual golf fees £950 using a Credit Card and the golf course goes into liquidation after 6 months would I be able to use section 75 to claim back 50% of the monies paid as they have failed to supply the goods/services for the full year?

Is this definite? There is 120-day limit starting apparently "once you were due to receive the ... service". In this case you started receiving 180 days ago, but not finished yet.born_again said:

In the case of future dated events or ongoing services, which this is. Then you have a max of 540 days from date of debit for a chargeback.grumpy_codger said:
