I think it might be a good option to buy it. Along with this, a huge shift towards the more technically capable EVs at a significantly cheaper prices pops up now. So basically, if you're now on the position where you need to make a choice, just consider all factors. In one hand - a less price which is good, it the other one - EV's battery lifespan and longer range cars are getting into market at lower prices that they were 3 years ago. And cars are never an investment, just a need. Good car - you buy, not good - don't buy though.

Range is fine for our needs, 75KWH battery, advertised range of 360 miles. We haven’t had a problem in 3 years.

Jaguar selling 2025 ipace Jaguars at a £32,500 discount, this move is causing consternation.

That's basically a closing down sale for Jaguar.  It's an old model, and nobody wants it any more.
    If it sticks, force it.
If it breaks, well it wasn't working right anyway.

That is certainly one way of looking at the problem.

An alternative view is that European EVs are all over priced and if China floods the market with well-made, upmarket EVs at far lower prices, as looks very likely, that will also impact resale prices.
