Balance transfer when balance includes pending

I am planning a balance transfer from a credit card (I've already got a balance transfer card). The balance shown on that card includes a pending amount. So can I make a transfer that includes that amount or should I only transfer the amount of the transactions can do.
Obviously I could just wait until that item ceases to be pending. That may only take another day or two, but there are good reasons (I won't bore you with details unless specifically asked) why this item might stay pending for some weeks and I don't want to wait that long.

You can transfer it with the pending amount if you are confident that the pending one will process though if it may not or may take weeks, worst case you end up with the card in credit - either spend on the card or ask for a refund to the bank account
Sam Vimes' Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness:
People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.

What is the balance transfer window you've been offered? Typically it will be something along the lines of "0% on any balances transferred within 90 days of account opening", or a variation thereof. If you've got a reasonable window available to you, you could potentially transfer the amount excluding the pending transaction now, then do another transfer later on to cover that transaction if needed. But as Nasqueron points out, you could also just transfer the whole lot then ask for a refund if it turns out to be needed.0

Well, the pending item has now appeared as an actual item.
And the transfer is now shown on my balance transfer card, but has not yet appeared as a credit on the card I am transferring from. I expect that takes a day or so.0
