Car Insurance - got a claim from 3rd party as our insurance are not responding

Last year we had a accident for which we were at fault and insurance accepted liability. The case has been open as discussions were happening but suddenly I get an email from the small courts where the 3rd party has put a claim against me. I have forwarded the details to my insurance but they haven't got in touch with me and I worried that the clock is ticking as I need to respond. Can i please ask anyone who has had some experience with this or is a lawyer on how to respond. The options that I have are
1/ Accept the claim in full
2/ Accept partial claim
3/ Acknowledge of the service and then I will to defend the claim, part of the claim or context this jurisdiction.
Any help will be appreciated. I will continue to chase our insurance for support.

Don't respond yourself whatever you do.
You can chase up your insurance company but it's likely there has been much discussion behind the scenes. They may be disputing repair or hire car costs for example. As long as you follow the process, your insurance company will ndemnify you.0 -
+1. Do not attempt to deal with it yourself. Hassle your insurance company. Even if they do drop the ball and don't respond in time, it's still them who will have to pay at the end of the day, not you.0
