Good morning, don't know what the weather is doing. It rained yesterday.
TA, I too am sick to death of January, I think we all are.
Hope you had a good lunch with your friend, also Rosy, hope you had a good meet up.
Ruby, hope Rob's money situation gets sorted out soon, difficult for you isn't it.
SO, did you manage to do anything with the spicy chicken?
Thinking of our sad and poorly people today, hope everyone has as good a day as they can.
Take care folks.

Good morning
The weather this morning is similar to yesterday cold etc.
Not much going on apart from work. Dinner is a mystery as well but plenty to choose from which is nice, be rice or spuds with something from freezer. Some prawns in there might be able use curry jar with that.
Enjoy your day whatever it brings15 -
Morning All
Thanks for the start Scarlet, hope you get some better weather today.
It was another long and boring day yesterday only made bearable by watching the planes taking off from Glasgow airport and a few ships going up the Clyde. We all passed the course mainly because the tutor had us do the test as a group! I don't really want the qualifacation or want to have the responsibility of being a first aider but we have an inspection due this year and there's no-one doing it so a favour for the boss I suppose.
Hope you get the money situation sorted soon Ruby, surely someone should have thought of that?
Off to normal work today, I'll catch up with everything and hopefully have a quiet day.
Hugs to anyone feeling sad, down or poorly. Take care. XX15 -
Morning allWoke up just after 5am this morning and couldn't get back to sleep so it's going to be a long day as nothing planned except the usual housework. Not sure what's for dinner yet, will have a rummage in the freezer to see what takes my fancy.Have a good day all x14

Morning folks and thanks SCARLET. I had one of my very rare better nights last night/ It'll be back to same old again tonight no doubt.
Yesterday was another chilly one but we escaped the promised drizzle. Today we are even promised some sun. Whoop whoop!! I met my DF as planned for lunch and once again it was very busy so we are going to go elsewhere next week. It's a little more expensive but we think we are worth it!
Sunday's large gammon joint still looks as big so first job I am going to slice that up and freeze in portions. That will cover quite a few meals and lunchtime sarnies. Then a few neglected jobs will follow. All the upturned garden ornaments and solar stuff is still waiting to be picked up but that's for a warmer day - if we ever get one!
Have a good day folks if you can and ((HUGS)) for our poorlies, sad or lonely. Take care all and stay safe xx"If you dream alone it will remain just a dream. But if we all dream together it will become reality"13 -
Good morning
Thank you for the start @ScarletRibbons
Thanks for the suggestion for my chicken. I managed to get most of the crumb off and took @remmie suggestion and put it in korma sauce, enough left for today.
Take careIf you walk at night no-one will see you cry.16 -

Morning all - thanks to @Scarlet for starting us off.The TV dish man came yesterday to reposition the dish. Freeview is dire here so most have either Sky or Freesat, I have Freesat so once the dish is in the right place it works. He's the only person who does this work which means he's been really busy since the red storm. Most of the rest of the day was spent catching up on missed programmes and wandering around the internet. My order from Seasalt arrived on Monday. The jumper is lovely so staying whilst the tunic (my first ever!) is too large so I've ordered the next size down and will be taking the return parcel to the delivery office shortly. I've no idea what the rest of the day will bring me, perhaps the new set of laces which should have come yesterday.I hope that everyone is doing well - @DP1, how's your little one? - and that Rob has money. Take care all.13

Morning all
So lovely to wake up to bright skies - supposed to stay for a couple of days too
Some chores to do this morning, plus washing the van. A visit to a campervan conversion place this afternoon to start tentatively looking for a new one 😬
Yesterday as I removed my boots the whole heel and half the sole came apart - the toe end has already been glued once! I’m not a shoe person at all but I think I’m now down to walking shoes, two suede lace ups (no good for winter really) and a pair of boots with heels for special occasions. Maybe a shopping trip needed!Hope everyone’s day goes well

Morning
Dry outside, yesterday turned out to be not as wet as forecast today we're promised a bit of sun.
I found lots to do yesterday once I remembered our house Insurance was up for renewal. Sorted that out then ordered a birthday present for DD. Turned out to be an expensive day, made worse by DH ordering something he'd been pondering about.Good job I watch the pennies elsewhere.
Have taken some chicken thighs from the freezer for tonight, but undecided what to do with them. I had to take them out as I peeled and chopped the remainder of the 8p parsnips bought at Xmas and couldn't fit them in.
SO, glad my suggestion worked for you, I was almost tempted to buy more spicy chicken to make it again!
Ruby, I hope the money situation gets sorted out, it's good of you to sub Rob but there has to be a limit.
Hope Mehefin is okay.
Have a good day all whatever you're doing, hugs to our poorlies and sad. Take care.12 -
Morning all and thanks for the start @ScarletRibbons x
DS2 is 21 today - he’s at uni but we might visit him for lunch if he’s free.
I am on a (new to me phone) so trying to get to grips with reloading apps and remembering security codes! Think that will take up my morning. The community allotment folk were lovely - it’s a wonderful space and we are going to join up. We may have found our people!
Dinner is a tuna pasta bake and there’s washing and ironing to do today. I also repurposed a pretty embroidered single duvet cover into two cushion covers for our bed yesterday. It was £1 from a car boot sale so no outlay except my time 😊
Glad you passed the course @camelot1001
Hope Rob comes with some cash today @RedRuby1231
Good use of the chicken @silver-oldie
Mmmm prawn curry @arielgirl yummy
Glad the TV is back up and running @Gers
Have a good day all
