Utilita Smart Energy Tariff Inaccuracy on MSE Energy Club

I have a very low usage Electricity account (150 kwh/yr) & Utilita is coming up as by far the cheapest so I have clicked through to their website & found that although MSE displays this as a 'direct debit' possible tariff, Utilita application for the tariff does not allow this.
Instead, the Utilita website only permits 'pay as you go' (ie preload up your account, rather than a credit account which is paid by direct debit every month). Very impractical to me, but I expect it saves them a lot of money in not having to chase unpaid bills.
Can someone from MSE look at this & if I am correct, please confirm below & adjust the club search engine/ results to display 'pay as you go only' for the Smart Energy Tariff'? Shame, it would have saved me a lot of money.

Utilita are principally a PAYG supplier. I think you're right that their no standing charge tariff requires PAYG.

Agreed, quite misleading. PAYG is no good for most people.0

I looked at Utilita as an option for gas only as 99% of my bill is standing charges, however their only option seems to be to change suppliers for both gas and electricity which I don't want to do. Has anybody tried to switch for just gas? My electric is about 50/50 between standing charge and usage (on Agile) but having had a horrendous experience with Scottish Power I am loath to switch that from Octopus who at least have half decent customer service ...Debt Free Wannabe by 1 March 2026
