    Thank you. I requested a written breakdown and I will challenge. I can’t see anything changing long term. 
    Please also get hold of any report they commissioned.....did your daughter have an assessment.. if so the assessment report... if she didn't have an assessment it is possible the DWP still sought advice and a report of such would exist. If such a report or advice was received it likely said they should review your daughter's disabilities in 6 months... which sounds very hard to justify with a maximum award if "I can’t see anything changing long term." (Normally they add 12 months on for the decision to provide a 'review year') It would be unusual I think for a new claim to have no commissioned advice or assessment - it's not particularly common in reviews of existing claims.

    As I say it does sound worth challenging... if they don't change their minds you could appeal.... but the problem here is that because the award is so short it could get messy as in around 9/10 months they'll start a reassessment (review) of entitlement and by then if you were to appeal it is quite possible you'd be waiting for it... not sure how lengthy appeal waits are typically at moment.
