Help - Insurance Co (Home) . not done anything in month since started claim - burst pipe

We returned from holiday over Christmas back 28/12/24 . The day before my in-laws found  we had a burst pipe, we reported this over the phone to the Insurance Co, that evening 27th Dec. to start the claim. It had done lots of damage, water was running down a light bulb and down the wall with its switch on. The loft, ceilings, walls, stairway carpet, hallway ceiling and floor, front door and sill, some furniture and clothes and the fridge and freezer contents were all damaged. We took photos.

We had the leak stopped 10am  before we got back 20.30 that evening (No electricity on)  We got light in some of our rooms and heat and had our water put back on after a day and a half. We bought a dehumidifier and karcher to suck away the water and did lots of washing and drying. The insurance co sent out a disaster repair co  31/12/2024 (seemed great) who said they would send in an electrician as a priority and dryers and blowers and take all the wet stuff away and then we would have to look at taking celings ,down replacing the floors, stair and hallway carpets ... they also took a sample of the ceiling as it may have asbestos in it - it did. 

As between Christmas and New Year we thought it a bit slow but understood maybe delay.

Since then they have taken a further asbestos sample (diff. Co.) said quote from Disaster Co. big but has been approved  but done nothing else. We have chased them up. Complained, but they have still not answered many of our questions or sent an electrician? 

We have been a month now? Is this normal and what can we do?
