Hello - just one last question. When I submitted the AOS I said I intended to defend but didn't intend to make a counterclaim. Assuming I need to remove points 29 and 30(?) from the template?0

There are simply there to ensure that when you win the case you get your out of pocket expenses paid by the Claimant.
At Witness Statement time you will be filing a cost assessment - as described in the second post of the NEWBIES thread.3 -
Just an update to say I have submitted the Defence and received the automated response so will await next steps. Thanks all for the help so far, hugely appreciated3

Hi wondering if anyone can help. Can’t find this specific step in the other threads. I’ve had 5 missed calls and an automated voicemail from DCB today to say I have to ring them back to discuss my case. My understanding is that I now wait for the N180 form from the court and do not need to be communicating directly with DCB legal, is that correct?

Correct, no contact other than in writing is the recommended action
DCB Legal mithering the Defendant is commonplace, but rarely recommended2 -
I’m still getting calls from them but they haven’t emailed or written to me. Should I write to them requesting they contact me in writing? Just want to make sure I can’t be accused of not cooperating, not sure if that is something I need to worry about?0
-
Your choice, you can insist on in writing communications only, not phone calls, or ignore the mithering calls as perceived unreasonable behaviour
I think that you need to follow the process, follow our advice and take a chill pill, and stop worrying about it
Personally, I would not be talking to them directly, but only via the mediation service ( compulsory ) or in a courtroom3 -
Just block them. No, you won't be criticised for non-communication.3
