Where to buy printer paper/lever arch files cheaply.

Hi,
I was wondering whether you can help. Studying an arts subject at university, I inevitably end up printing lots of articles (I'd rather print them off than read them on screen). This means that I use up a lot of printer paper. Usually when this happens, I either buy some for £3.20 from the college shop or I could go into town to buy some from Smiths or somewhere like that (but be really heavy carrying it up the hill back, heh). Anyway I was wondering whether there was somewhere online where I could buy it more cheaply - I don't mind buying more than one packet, but I'd rather not spend a fortune on paper.
Also, I need some lever arch files. I didn't realise how many folders I would fill up at university (mainly due to the articles I like printing off). I've already asked on Freecycle, and will look in the sales, but anywhere I can get some bog standard files (about 5/6) cheaper than in the shops?
Have an NUS card if this gets me discounts anywhere.
Thankyou

Supermarkets sells cheap printer paper and files.
Can you print on both sides to reduce amount of paper you need? (and to help save the environment!)
Or could you try asking some businesses for any of their scrap paper from their printer that they don't re-use? My workplace only prints on one side of the page and any pages that aren't needed are put in a big pile by the printer for people to use for scrap or print non-important stuff on. (hope I explained that ok!) Though it would depend on how tidy you want your files to be.* Rainbow baby boy born 9th August 2016 *

I did use to print on both sides of the paper, but I got a new printer and not sure how to do it - I'll find out.
Yes, well I'll only be printing articles (although I will need clean paper to put my essays) so that's a good idea thanks.
No Wilkos where my uni is, but there is one in a town near me, I'll have a pootle. Thanks

.... bu you'll probably find Morrisons etc are cheaper. Cheaper still, with respect, is to read the articles online where you don't absolutely need to print them off?If you want to test the depth of the water .........don't use both feet !0 -

They have a web site
http://www.wilkinsonplus.com/
I think delivery starts at £2.95 per order, but for me that's cheaper than paying the bus fare into town.
I find using the search box brings up more items than using the menu catagories0 -
Look on Quidco - loads of stationers on there plus you get cashback.
Lidl have some stationery offers on at the mo - post its, files etc.
It is cheaper to buy 5 reams of paper (a box) than buy a ream at a time.0 -
Tesco Direct.
Wait until someone posts a 'free delivery' code on MSE, go thru Quidco, and don't forget to claim your clubcard points - even more clever: wait until you have a Double Points voucher. Some days you're the dog..... most days you're the tree!0
