HSBC app - wrong numbers / values displayed?

Hi, I’m wondering if anyone here has experienced something similar. My husband and I were checking our mortgage balance online, and then we requested a redemption quote. When we returned to the account, we noticed that the balance had 'suddenly' increased by £4,000.00. When we called HSBC, they told us it was impossible for more debt to have been added to our account and suggested that the numbers displayed online might have been wrong. They also mentioned that it wouldn’t be possible for them to see the numbers that were displayed at an earlier point in time. Looking at our numbers carefully, it seems the value now shown is correct, but just moments before asking for the redemption quote, a different value was displayed (a lower value - and that was not wishiful thinking
). Has anyone else experienced something like this recently?

Could the redemption quote include an ERC ? This wouldn't be included in your account balance.0
