Chetwood savings help

Hi forum buddies, I opened a savings account yesterday with Chetwood, received all the welcome info/ deposit link etc. I deposited 19K but 24 hours later has still not shown up in my account.. should I be panicking or not?😬 I’ve tried emailing/messaging them but no reply as yet.

I recently opened an account with Kent Reliance and it took 24 hours for my deposit to show. When I rang they said although I had sent it via Faster Payments from my bank it would be held by the clearing bank for 24 hours. I was a bit concerned too but I'm sure you'll be OK.1

Why would they have this restriction? I know it's not like running a current account but I can imagine reasons why I might need to talk to them while abroad.

Most banks have a dedic@ted line for overseas calls, maybe because I’m using an American sim, so American number.0

Update: the funds got pinged back to the original bank, neither bank has responded to messages or emails so I’m not sure what happened, I multiple checked the account details it was sent to. Mystery0
