Problems renewing TSB monthly saver
fly-catchers
My current Monthly Saver has now matured and the money moved to an Easy Saver. A couple of days later I set up a new Monthly Saver through the Web site and it was set up. It asked if I wanted to set up a monthly standing order which I did. But on trying that it came back with an error screen. So I decided to set it up through the app. But when you go into the current account and choose move money the monthly saver is not listed on the accounts you can send money to. Though it is shown on the main page that lists all my accounts. How can I fix this?

You enter the account details of your Monthly Saver as if it were an external payee.2

I tried that but it came up with another error message! Can you simply fund the saver from another bank or does it need to be funded from the TSB to qualify?AmityNeon said:You enter the account details of your Monthly Saver as if it were an external payee.0 -
TSB are notorious for dodgy IT. You need to set it up as a payee, rather than an internal transfer
I consider myself to be a male feminist. Is that allowed?1 -
I typed all the information again and the second attempt it’s worked! So fingers crossed!0

It doesn't need to be from TSB, I always fund TSB regular saver from another bank.fly-catchers said:

I had this exact same issue a couple of years ago. Dodgy IT. Phone them and they will set it up for you.fly-catchers said:My current Monthly Saver has now matured and the money moved to an Easy Saver. My renewal was exceptionally fast. Transferred the lot to my Classic account, then all of it to my Santander account. Opened the new RS and FP'd £250 to the new RS. 15 minutes or so. Wish they were all like that!1
