in Cutting tax
I'm having to complete a self assessment this year and have mileage paid by my job that is taxed. I'm confused with how to record this as its not lining up with the page on the self assessment form. I have no mileage allowance not taxed at source (section E). But have mileage allowance payments paid and taxed. If anyone can help me with where to put this, I'd really appreciate it.
Thank you

If your mileage payments are included as part of your taxable salary and taxed there is no need to declare anything.1

Its titled working sheet 6, Mileage allowance payments 2023 to 2024. Section 1 Boxes A-C, then section 4 Approved Mileage Allowance Payments.
Thank you both so much for your help, I'm very confused and am scared of getting this wrong0 -

your monthly payslip should give you a clue whether they have been taxed or not as part of your PAYE0
