Ok, I am not too clued up on cameras. I've had my sony cybershot T1 for years and think its time for a change. I love the cybershot, and I am thinking of upgrading to a 7.2megapixel cybershot (in my price range) or I do like the look of Casio Exilim 7.2megapixels. Not sure of model, on offer in Boots at the moment.
Is there going to be much difference between my current 5.1 and a 7.2megapizel camera?
Which is the beter choice - sony v casio?
Thank you x

The increase in the mega pixel count will have very little impact on picture quality, in fact there is a possibility it will be worse due to an increase in noise. The key element in photography is how much light reaches the sensor and the size of the sensor. All compact camera have very small sensors so the you need to find a camera with a really good lens.
Have a look at the reviews at https://www.stevesdigicams.com and https://www.dpreview.com
Decide what features you want in a camera and then find a camera with those features that gets good reviews. It's my problem, it's my problem
If I feel the need to hide
And it's my problem if I have no friends
And feel I want to die0 -
Good advice, high pixel count never means better picture quality.Ive alwaysused cybershot's, and they have always served me well in both picture quality and size0
